Salesforce.com Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying solutions for our clients, using Apex and Visualforce, and often leveraging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and other technologies.
Quality is key, as is an ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into a technical reality that is extendable and maintainable.
Primary Responsibilities:
Function as part of a multi-disciplinary team during the technical implementation of Force.com Software-as-a-Service applications leveraging Java programming experience.
Participate in technical design sessions. Code, unit test, and create supporting documentation for application development tasks. Provide support during integration testing.
Learn to contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle - analysis, design, development, testing and production support.
Adhere to project methodologies, collaborate as part of a team - both on-site and remote - to deliver customer requirements on time and within budget.
Clearly and effectively communicate verbally and in all written correspondence with clients and project team members.
Continually refine business acumen to deploy business value for complex Web development projects.
Experience and Skills:
B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field of study with 3 years experience
Force.com Developer Certification (Dev-401) or equivalent experience
Excellent track record with 3+ years of experience in IT industry programming in Java-centric technologies with demonstrated aptitude or proven ability to do Web programming, including use of HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C# web services
Previous consulting experience a plus
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com platform out-of-the-box functionality along with APEX, Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, and SOQL
Hands on database design and implementation experience with enterprise RDBMS such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, Informix or DB2
